Auntie Q is now a Grandmother!

Master Tait Michael was born on Sunday, November 3, 2013 (11/3/13)!  Weighing in at 7lbs.6oz he has an international audience as his mother, Trish, hails from
Canada and his dad, Robert (Auntie Q's son) is American.

BTW: Mom and Dad met in Korea and are currently living in Kuwait!

In addition to  Auntie Q and her hubby "Pappy," and his 
Aunt Samantha, Tait's birth has brought great joy to his Canadian relatives, Grandparents Marg and Rod and his Uncle Bud!
We are all so thrilled that this little man has joined our world!
Need-less-to-say, we must all work to the best of our abilities to make this a safe, happy and healthy world!

I'm back!

Auntie Q in Barntique Village of Moriches, NY is so busy with the shop and life in general, she has not updated her blog in what seems like forever! Well, now I am back!

On June 23, 2013 our Long Island newspaper, Newsday, ran a wonderful story about 

BARNTIQUE VILLAGE! Auntie Q's shop was pictured on the front cover of the Part II section with a great shot of vintage cameras and an adorable Kewpie! The story was the first two pages with lots of great photos and quotes from some of the 18 dealers in our adorable walk-aroundable vintage village.  Business has been outstanding and we are very grateful to Newsday for the exposure!
